Olbrich Garden’s GLEAM Exhibit is LIVE through October 24th!

We had a team of LED circus artists at the Opening Night of GLEAM (for the fifth straight year), and fire shows between bands at CRACKLE! It’s always such a pleasure to perform our specialties at such a gorgeous (and local) venue. We got to put so many upgrades to use as well.

New props? Check.
New performers? Yes!
Upgraded costumes? Yes!
New acts? YAY!
More lighting? Thanks, Tony!
We even had stilt walkers in the Conservatory!

Brenda & Nora were the most beautiful butterflies, meshing perfectly with the UV reactive lighting and chonky caterpillars all around the greenery. It made for a really enchanting entrance to the exhibit!

Jessi & Cody (of Web Weavers) brought mystical dragon staff to the Thai Garden and double contact staff to the Discovery Dock. Check out Jessi’s masterful foot techniques in this clip!

Josef & Goose (of MCE) had pixel props programmed with critters that matched the Great Lawn installation (Something May Answer by HYZ Studio). It was so cute hearing the kiddos recognize the axolotl!

This year, we got to add Stina (Sunflow Circus) to the team for GLEAM! New to our team, but not new to performing, Stina brought magic and joy with her custom LED fans. It was lovely to work together. If you’re interested in silk fan classes, keep an eye on her socials for when she returns to teaching!

CRACKLE was an absolute hit this year as well. We learned a fresh new trio act (Thank you Austen!) that made for a perfect fire finale, and brought back our ‘old favorite’ cutesy partner poi duet. The energy was high, the music was groovy, and the fires were lit. Hah. Get it? ;)
